Signum are probably my all time favourite Trance producers, don't think they've ever been rated as good at DJ'ing as they are at producing though.

and Matt Darey - Animal (Mark Sherry Mix) is one of the best tracks I've heard in the past year.

    Totally agree,
As Producers there both shit hot, iv'e seen them twice now 1st being 'Bosh Live' at Talltrees & expected a few stormers to be played such as: First Strike, What ya got 4 me, The Timelord, Push through.... but not a sausage:(
Was quite dissapointed but it wont ever tarnish the productions theyv'e made.

their 2007 mix of first strike is "the boy" like, but they probably didnt want to go down the whole above and beyond route. and i know A+B dont play their back catalogue from start to finish but it fucking seems so. if its not one of theirs its a remix they've done or something on anjunabeats. yawn.

i'd love to see signum tho they'd be "the waxa"

    2004 you mean?

Their best stuff in my opinion is:

Signum - First Strike (Signum Signal 2004 Remake)
Signum Feat. Katana - Third Dimension
    Signum - Second Wave
    Signum - Cura me
Misja Helsloot - First Second (Signum Remix)

Dark, Tough, Driving, Melodic got it all in there.

I can't think of a selection of producers tracks that I love more, all in amongst my all time favourites.

Almost shed a tear when I heard In Your Face and it was about as generic and cheesy as tech trance can get though. :(

I think that a Signum producers set would have me in heaven.

woop ai "Signum - First Strike (Signum Signal 2004 Remake)" that one :dunce:

fantastically well remastered the original for it like. its like you say "dark and tough" the build up to the break is simply amazing.

i think thats why i liked maori, but he's been bloody conscripted the bleedin idiot, however, his productions were getting a bit repetative like

Was going to say, never knew about a 2007 mix but there is no way it could top that brilliance, no matter how good!

I've heard Hardwick nail it so many times and it used to destroy promise every single time without fail.

Perfect percussion/bassline etc, loads of drive. That little scratch sample. I just love it.
