    Gone to Chelsea.

What an idiot. Mistake of his carrer hes been attracted by the fact they win trophies.

He's going to end up warming the bench and hardly playing like Scott Parker did when he went there.

He's a good player but he's not going to shift Makelele, Lampard, Ballack or Essien out of a starting place.

Wonder if he will play enough games to get a medal if they win the league. Blatently went there for the money imo. He left Arsenal for first team football and then goes to Chelsea, what a mug

Totally, its nearly a carbon copy of what Scott Parker did, played well for a mediocre recently promoted team then left for the money to be a sub. Will ruin his career.

Ballack and Makelele are off in the summer so its probably a pretty good signing tbh, good backup player

Suppose its something for Newcastle to look forward too.

He'll be a Newcastle player in 2 years for about £7 Million after playing about 8 cup games for Chelsea.

Makelele is nearing the end of his career so Sidwell will obvoiusly think he has a chance of breaking in to the first team. Any professional footballer has to have that belief in their own ability, much better to have a crack at it than wonder if he could have made it.
