Shoot 'Em Up. Literally one of the worst films I've ever seen. It's kind of invented it's own sub-genre "the shoot 'em up". Basically it's just a series of ridiculous blazing shoot outs linked together by the thinnest, shittest story imaginable. It's a bit like a live action computer game (a bit like the film Crank) but even modern games have more depth than this. Clive Owen and Monica Bellucci's performances are utter shit and the action scenes themselves aren't even that good. The only good point about the film was Paul Giamatti's performance, which belonged in a better film. The filmmakers would probably claim they were "trying to make a self aware satire of modern action films and a scathing commentary on America's acceptance of guns". I say they made an absolute piece of shit. 2/10.
i thought it was shitejust going off the trailer, wouldnt bother wearing the cotton down on me trousers watching this
yeah, the action scenes on the trailer looked shite - clive owen too, he's been getting better recently
I loved crank and thought it might be similar, seems this is shit though, but then again u mighta thought crank was wank too
i found it funny not agood film but defo a good laugh dont take things so serious but its all about 3 films 1. war - statham v jet li 2. Hitman 3. the kingdom
A lad I work with sat in the show with his Mam, Dad and Brother. They were constantly laughing out loud throughout the entire film. I think I chuckled twice. I must be a miserable Bastard
i take back my words, if you take this film seriously then you'll hate it, but if you take it for what it is then its a good laugh, pure ridiculous action. you find yourself just sitting their laughin at some of the scenes muttering fuck off to yourself. good film for a sunday night when ya cant be arsed with owt deep or meaningfull
