    'Shite' scratchin'

hey all... i know most of you say its shite an all but does any1 know of any good dvd's that can teach you how to scratch?

    like eddie halliwell type scratchin?

an i only called it shite cos peeps said that technically halliwell was poor on here a bit ago, so i thought if its shite an the one's he does are 'easy' then i want a go :D

is that q bert do it yourself one any good?

i don't think he's a shite scratcher, he just makes it a bit too obvious!!

people like max graham, dave clarke, and illogic scratch as part of the music, and not right over the top of it, as eddie halliwell does, and often drowns out the tune!

but he obviously has the talent to do it so good for him!!

but to answer your question, you can buy dvds etc from hmv, htfr etc i think, but just have a mess around and it should eventually come!

    we believe you man;)

even the most hardened eddie hater couldn't deny being impressed by the bosh cd and it's scratching!!

but then hard trance went a bit shite and eddie turned to techno as it suited his tune cutting, quick mixing style and i think he suffered for it with pretty boring sets at crasher!!

    cafe del marco:rolleyes:

the DMC stuff is what to go for but your best way to get good is by finding a really good scratch DJ and asking him/her to teach you.
