SHINDIG PRESENTS: DUBFIRE @ LEGENDS - FRIDAY 25th SEPTEMBER

Dominating both the underground and mainstream dance scenes Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia returns to Shindig for the first time since he created a mayhem zone on the city's Baltic Square in 2007...The party will mark Shindig's debut and first of many gigs at Legends, and be the ultimate testament of what Shindig is really about.

Whilst we move away from seventeen years of delivering weekly club nights; have we lost the underground vibe? Or is Shindig about to grow up? Not a chance. Shindig sets out to prove that all it takes is guts and a quirky space: mixing the cutting edge of quality underground music with exciting memories from the past that demand rediscovery.

As Dubfire shed his progressive roots to emerge as the most successful crossover producer of last year with long builders 'Ribcage' and 'Emission': Shindig also recaptures its roots with all roads leading to Newcastle's newly revived and alternative clubbing spot.

The focused nature of Legends main room, alongside the more homely and seriously underground basement, all have the true attitude for a great party across two floors. With a tweaked sound system and Shindig's finishing touches, we plan to play it loud and play it proud as one of the biggest dj's on the planet - Dubfire unleashes his sonic weaponry on a new chapter for Shindig.

Bad attitudes and narrow minds should be left at the top of the stairs at our new stomping ground, before venturing down for a true basement vibe orchestrated by techno's finest: Dubfire.

Random Saturdays WHQ , Random Fridays at Legends.. for now. :)

We aren't doing events at Digital anymore.. it panned out like that in the end , we had to make a decision which we felt would move us forward.. like it used to be..

They have a good chocka schedule also.. so city is in for some good nights over Autumn..

Are you going to spill the beans about digital then? ;)

Legends might be pretty sweet as a venue actually ... get the lights down low, a decent sound system and you could almost be back at foundation.

no to your first bit as there is nowt to spill really. apart from we parted ways..

but YES to your comment above.. that's exactly how we are planning it to be.. the basement "cave" in the bottom is going to be mint too :)

A large dark room with some good lighting effects, and big sound.. is about all you need really.. aye the venue is a bit rough round the edges.. but its a great layout for sure...

Looking forward to going back to Legends for this. Years since any of us were last there. Good little space for Dubfire to take over too.

    Will be a great night.
