If you "support" shindig on a regular basis like you say, then get a membership card for free from the website like loads of others do.. then they will know you are there for the music when you show them that.

We went on friday and two of me mates got searched and the bouncer found one pill in his pocket and knocked them back. I stood finishing me tab and was asking whats happened then I walked in and put up me arms so they could search me and they didn't bother. I walked into the entrance to get dan who'd already paid in, he wasn't there so I came back out to speak to the two lads, I then went back in and then he came out. I never got searched once and they knew I was with a lad who had drugs. Just goes to show it goes on appearance I think.
