Whats happening in the upstairs room these days? Been closed off with the opening of the terrace bar?
Yes, we'd like to think of the Terrace Bar as our alternative to upstairs and our proper room 2. Wev'e tried to solve alot of the problems why sometimes it just didn't seem work upstairs despite the Dj who was on. The Bar is in a much better location for us and now more than suits the vibe that hopefully will allow us to keep pushing more underground names, new artists and widen our music policy alongside the main room. cant wait for Vincenzo and Nick Curly
Fair enough i always liked the upstairs room tbh, think its a wicked little room in its own right and on some occasions when the right DJ/crowd has been up there it has been quality. The only downside in a way is that its maybe a bit too big for a back room, and generally felt a bit empty unless there had been a guest booked especially to fill it. Looking forward to seeing what the terrace bar is all about when i am next there though, very likely to be for Vincenzo/Lawler Nick Curly is a quality booking as well, been waiting for someone to bring him up here for a while
