Shindig 18th Anniversary Shindig 18th Anniversary- 18 Years In Clubland Standing proud of a reputable 18 years cultivating club land, Shindig has trodden its own path from the old World Headquarters (Club Afrika) where it all began in the 90’s, to now celebrating a major milestone in throwing parties for its loyal mix of night crawlers. Over two decades in its long and illustrious career, amid various walls and open spaces, Shindig has boxed an uncompromising vibe together with a genuine subculture that is cultivated not bought. Since way back in 1992, Shindig has been responsible for bringing the best talent across the House, Techno and Electronic worlds to the North East; Mention the term “House Music”, amongst Newcastle's proud cobbled alleys of clubbing and Shindig’s reputation will most certainly come up in conversation. Shindig are set to host two suitably special Newcastle events which also kick off a UK Tour, celebrating their 18th Anniversary for the duration of 2010. On Saturday 1st May, Claude Von Stroke will be blowing out the candles at World Headquarters in the good company of Get Physical and BBC Radio1’s Heidi. In the comfortable surroundings of downstairs, OOFT Music's Ali Herron alongside the creative trio One20, will be providing deep-as-you-like house, forgotten funk and more. This is followed by a return to Digital Newcastle on Friday 11th June with someone who’s been on board for the entire journey…Shindig is extremely proud to announce the long awaited return of Sasha, who will be joined by Tel Aviv’s finest tech export Guy J for what is set to be a date to remember in 2010’s clubbing calendar. And if that wasn’t enough… Shindig’s 2010 Tour powered by Pioneer will be visiting our favorite clubs and venues across the UK and as far as Dubai; rolling into Circus (Liverpool), Back To Basics (Leeds), Sankeys (Manchester), Yello (Belfast) Digital (Brighton & Newcastle) Ultragroove (Edinburgh) Koola (Newquay) Riff Raff (Middlesbourgh) and more to be confirmed with our tightly knit residents and uncompromising Shindig vibe. As clubs come and go, with today’s scene a far cry from the early days of house music, what started as a small party for friends; has firmly stood the test of time … Shindig18 – “Growing Old is Mandatory… Growing Up Is Optional…”

Ah great.....I am busy that night getting brownie points off my girl, I daren't say where I'm off....
They both played I think for Circus a year or so back and were meant to be ace, only seen sasha once at the infamous glass-toss night but wouldn't of minded this for a second glance.
Quality, what a weekend in store! With Scot and Guy J warming up does that mean Sasha will be playing a shorter set than normal up here, and if that is the case will he be bringing his new led show with him? What time finish, extened perhaps???
