Shearers major doubts ALAN SHEARER has major doubts about achieving success in his last season for Newcastle. The former England striker made announced his decision to retire at the end of the current campaign last year. He said: "I just don’t know what we can achieve now. "I will keep keeping my fingers crossed, but I have been saying that for a few years now and we never seem to be able to get it right. "We will just have to wait and see what we can do in the league because I don’t know what is attainable especially the way we are playing and also with the problems off the field. "We're obviously not happy with the position we are in at the moment, and our aim at the moment is to try to progress in both cup competitions while trying to climb up the league table but we know we face a struggle. "But we just have to wait and see what happens."
Just so happens he's a multi millionaire when he retires, be ge's REALLY fucking gutted eh Shearers biggest regret is that he didnt sign for Man Utd, i dont care what anyone says really - just think of what he could/would of achieved if he'd went there when you see what the likes of Cole / Yoke / Ole Gunar have. Shearer went down alot in my estimation after the whole Bobby Robson scenario but at the end of the day he's probably one of the best British Strikers ever and also one of the best Newcastle No 9's i will ever see
try telling your mate Spence that cos hes having none of it. Hes won personal trophys for his sucess at a average premiership team imagine if he played for Man Utd or Real Madrid, Ac Milan etc. shame.
