I've never been a big fan of him, but to reject the biggest team in the country, and perhaps the world - twice, to fulfill your childhood dream of scoring goals for your hometown club gets major respect off me. Sooner he's back in a dugout the better cause he has the attributes to become a good manager IMO.
Yeah, from the moment he said he was joining newcastle to win trophies! Shearer and Sutton at blackburn though One went on to play for one of the biggest clubs in the UK, the other went to Newcastle Respect to him for sticking with them though
