You get loads of sharks in the North Sea, I heard reports of Orcas aswell, Basking Sharks are common where as Mako sharks have been caught on cameras from dive vessels and rigs off the coast of Aberdeen.

Taken from when I was working in Aberdeen and my mate was on a dive boat working in the north sea.

Warmer water? Theres no warmer water around the rigs but a good supply of garbage and things to eat.

The orcas (killers whales) were seen about a mile or two of south shields piers.

There's always been reports of sharks around the uk shores. Great whites have been reportedly seen last summer.

The waters are getting warmer and in the north there's a vast supply of seals so it's only to be expected really.

Nothing to worry about, we are not in floria and we dont venture out into waters above knee high so unless your going for a good swim you've nothing to worry about.
