Shannon mother faces kidnap trial The mother of Shannon Matthews will go on trial alongside Michael Donovan, who is charged with Shannon's kidnapping and false imprisonment. Karen Matthews, 32, of Dewsbury, Yorks, appeared at Leeds Crown Court via video link to face charges of child neglect and perverting the course of justice. The second charge states she "repeatedly concealed information" in relation to Shannon's whereabouts. Ms Matthews was remanded back into custody to go on trial on 11 November. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What a rotten, rotten family this lot are.
I hope she gets locked up and her kids get sent to foster homes where they will have slightly more than a snowballs chance in hell of growing up to be decent individuals .... .... Although before all that, she should be tarred, feathered and paraded through Dewsbury. On the flipside, i bet the media were to blame alot for pumping this shambles up to the level it was - She looked mightily uncomfortable holding those 'have you seen my daughter' t-shirts ..... i bet all she wanted was a nice quiet fake abduction, with an easy payoff and a swift exit to the estate in the next town where she could get that 100 inch plasma tv she was after. The whole deal is totally hilarious mind - its provided some absolutely wonderful entertainment in the meantime

i cant understand what possible conclusion she thought the fake abduction plan was going to come to. Did she just think that one day she would be able to say 'Oh look who Ive found wandering in the street, my missing daughter. thank you for all your donations which I shall now be keeping'.
Didnt she come out and say two of her kids are twins cos they have the same Dad yet were born on totally different days? Fkn bag she is, she deserves everything she gets.
