Service Pack 2 anyone know if this is available yet?? Thought there was supposed to be a smaller upgrade 80mb available to consumers in august.... only one i can find is the enterprise version which is 266mb!! Dunno if i should be installin this one or not... :doh:
Not out for home users yet like mate, probably out within the next few weeks. There's alot of hype about it like, I'm not going to install it...too risky!!
yeah ive just read there's like over 200 Apps that will cease to function properly after installin it!!! Slightly worryin... and no doubt there'll be countless updates to the service pack after its released... security vulnerabilities left right and centre!!!! :evil:
Got it installed now, no problems at all accept that divx wont work. Apparently they are going to patch for it in the next few days. Gotta say, good on Microsoft, it's a step in the right drection imho.
I'm not gona bother with XP 2 for until a more "I lost my original CD Key so had to get one off the net...honestly " version comes out
