    never stayed but the white room restuarant is easily the best one I have been to in the north east.

    The spa is pretty good.

    I've never stopped there but it looks gorgeous. The restaurant is one of the best I've been to and the prices seemed quite reasonable for somewhere like that. :up:

    Shame about the place down the round though :lol:

    it's really nice.. stayed for one of their midweek 2 night offers last year for my wifes birthday..

    had a meal one night in white room (was ok but a bit farty for me).. and one night in the ozone at the spa.. more my thing thai currys and asian tapas etc..

    Rooms are good.. see if they have a deal on, as you can get a better room than standard sometimes.. we had a suite for the price of a normal room.. was like a fucking luxury flat lol

    I've never heard of the other places you mentioned. Only experienced Seaham Hall and a little of the beach and woods, and had "gay corner" pointed out to me. An ex boyfriend I met at uni lived in Ryhope, I didn't know Sunderland had a coastline before that :blush:.

    haha wind jammer way :lol: seaham hall is menna be nice like, dont know if i could enjoy it what with me being salt of the earth and that place being up its own arse, i know a few people that work there like. haha cant believe you didnt know sunderland had beaches, not a patch on seahams award winning coastline like but everyone cant be a winner

    seaham is as far as i'm concerned, is a place thats in between sunderland and the boro.

    apart from that farty hotel is there anything else worth visiting? if so i might have a gan down. although i've heard its full of chavs and pikey's like :lol:

    haha you wouldnt be wrong like, its like any other working class NE town you get your nice areas and you get your shit areas, and there are always the minority that bring the area down with their scummyness and inability to rear their livestock sorry kids.

    the beaches and prominades are canny, rest is same as any other hick NE town.
