seen dave clarke when he was scratchin, and it was good, halliwell, not so impressive IMO, i think its because Dave Clarke's mixing as a whole was technically impressive, Halliwell's mixes apart from his scratching didnt show immense amounts of technical skill.

i d say its not that amazing, i mean it sounds great when used correctly, but its just hyped up so much when used in "our" clubland, because its not the done thing, yet in the world of breaks and hip-hop, everyone s doing it, damn, a 15 year old kid got up on stage at the DMC championships, and was scratching away.

Hip Hop dj's piss all over any dance dj's but its a very different sound - scratching is often an essential part of a hip hop set/tune - where as with dance music its just a pretty noise :D

Dog whatcha think of Ilogiks scratching?

I personally love hearing scratching over dance when done well... Scratching over hardcore is orgasmic :D

He's unquestionably the best scratch dj on the hard house circuit...his scratches aren't intrusive they accompany the song :d download a set you'll rate him :D

well i've ever seen Haliwell outa that lot.

But outa the 5 r so times i've seen him his scrating has only been up2 scratch once:(

If i remember rightly last time he was @ Promise his scratching did'nt seem 2 working after several attempts!!!

Correct me if i'm wrong cos i'm genrally in a bit of a state anycase:D

Back on the subject, when he pulls it off its wicked thou:D

Seen Ilogik scratching and he was pretty damn good. Halliwell is good too but I think the style he plays doesn't suit scratching as much as Ilogik's does. There's a nu nrg DJ, I think he's called Depth Charge, and I've got a set of his where he scratches a bit and that's awesome too.:p

When I am out I like it but if every DJ did it, it would be crap.

The best I have seen is Ray Davies, Eden,Ibiza, resident DJ.

When Ilogik has played @ SSN I have always been in a diffrent room, but Dr Mick says he is the MAN!!!
