Scottish football, what is the point???

It's shite, no-one cares (outside of Scotland), either Rangers or Celtic win, then they get thrashed in Europe cos the difference between playing HIbs and playing anyone else in Europe is enormous.

And the lower divisions! is there anything more depressing in sport than forfar playing fife on a sunday afternoon.

I met someone once who told me he was a Ross County fan cos he had the misfortune to be born there. That depressed me for days

    /end of rant

You could say the same about supporting a lot of clubs. I think it just shows that you just don't get football.

What's the point in supporting a mediocre English - a Birmingham or Charlton for example.

It's born and bred into you. The passion that lower division fans show is second to none.

    Closet Rangers fan imo

I went to a shit load of Aberdeen games when i lived up there between 1989 and 2000 and saw some wicked games agaisnt the like of Hibs, Barry Town, Brondby and Dundee

and some PROPER hostile atmospheres

as Craig says, there is more to Football than how many flip flaps Ronaldinho is going to do against Milan in the semis.

I never get to see my team (Spurs) and going to the game on Saturday and getting grief from the minute i hit the pub at midday to going home at 2am really made me remember why i am a yid for life

well apart from the freek blackburn win... in the past 10 years only 3 teams have contested the prem.... but there's more teams in the prem... so an extra team aint to much. could be worse though.... in ireland i think linfield win every fucking year!:)

ok, scottish football fans, can you explain to me why this happens?

    taken from bbc site:

"The league splits into two after the weekend of 8 and 9 April, when all sides will have played 33 games.

At the bottom, Livingston are already deep in relegation trouble, occupying the one relegation place, and are 10 points adrift of their nearest rivals. "

    why??
