    Not like me to agree with cockvandick, but :up:

    Got to give the bloke a chance and thats next season, IMO.

    Hes got rid of some of the poison from the changin room. he's now got to get rid of the dead wood. yeah like most people out there you prob think hes not the man for the job? but he is the man in the job, so get behind him 100% and lets see what and if anything he can do next season.

    We can't afford to take that risk, IMO. By then, he may have well and truly fucked us up.

    His managerial record speaks for itself. His neck was on the line at Blackburn until he left them for us as well.

    We weren't as bad as we are now tho. No worthy strikeforce, no consistent wide players, getting rid of our best players, fan unrest, chants of 'attack, attack, attack'....I could go on. The atmosphere at the game against Charlton spoke volumes for the position the club are in now. I haven't seen it that bad/low for years.

    Our last manager got us to 5th and to Uefa semis on pretty much the same team.. Souness brings people IN and in in the bottom half of the table....

    So now tell me he has not made it worse

    Where were we in the leauge when he left ... ? the same postion he was when he came if i remember rightly ... :mad:

    As for 5th and the uefa semis we still won fuck all, dalglish got us 2nd in the league and an fa cup final so why did we get rid ... ? as did ruud guillet an fa cup final that is, so why did we get rid of him ... ?

    All this shit started to day the shit started to fall from upstairs ...

    i.e Bobbys last season / Shearers last season = give the changin room an angle to inject the poison now some is gone.
