    Saw IV.

    Watched this last night.

If you've seen the others you know what to expect.

I won't spoil anything, but they are scraping the barrel story-wise now like.

To be honest the pre-title sequence is mint, it's well grusome and has a really nice tone about it. My mates not that squeemish but he couldn't even watch it, haha.

But then it just returns to the same old formula.

    First 5 minutes - 8/10

    Rest of film - 5/10.

Alright crack for Halloween I suppose, although i'd save your money and check out 30 Days of Night which looks infinitely better.

As far as I can gather he heard that tape in the 1st 5 mins of the film and thought something along the lines... "hell yeah, thats sounds like summat to do/carry on"

As a result saw IV lol... bit bizarre yes...

Jigsaw was an engineer so its feasible but surely all of his aids (the bird and him in the 4th) would need an engineering degree to build setup some of that shit!

but he then seen the dead body of the jigsaw guy back in the warehouse like the ending of the third film like all of this was going on when the third was. But he didnt get the tape until the body was in the morgue which was later on:spangled:

they're flashbacks. basically at the beginning when they cut him open, the bloke says get the detective down, then they flash back to whats been happening. then the bit where he actually listens to the tape is the true ending of the film. confusing as hell. basically the detective has been involved all along somewhow( don't know what the crack is here) and he thinks that it should all be over now, when in fact it isn't which is what he finds out when he listens to the tape that came out of his stomach( the true ending) thus meaning there will be another film. I still haven't got a clue how the detective is involved tho, I'm sure all will be revealed in the next one.

at least thats how I interpreted the film

That makes sense. I thought it was something along those lines but i kept thniking that the detective started because of the tape he listened to at the beginning. Then when you realise that is the end it was confusing.:dunce:
