should be an interesting match..........am fearing the worst if the Pool don't get a result. watched the last 3 matches whilst on holiday, we were shocking. thought we played well against Arsenal but to get turned over so easily by Fulham and Wigan stunned me.

hahahaha, its definitely looking pretty sketchy........i can see us needing a win at Old Trafford last day to stay up...hopefully they'll have won the league, be in the champions league final and put out an F string team ;)

I've enjoyed Holloway's interviews, and its clear that early succes got to his head a bit - realisation is kicking in now

agreed.........too many bad substitutions and tinkering by trying to play defensive. fair enough people got wise to our tactics in the 2nd half of the season and we couldn't be gung-ho for 38 games so needed to make slight changes but some have stunned me and many others, he should know we don't have the capacity at the back to soak up barrage after barrage of attacks on our back line. if gilks hadn't got injured we'd have probably struggled through but kingston ends up in no mans land far too much, good shot stopper but awful decision making and distribution of the ball.

what pisses me off is how well we can play against the big teams then the next week get badly turned over by the likes of wigan, wolves, fulham. we've let too many 2-0 leads slip away to draws or losses.

we're not down and out yet but if we go down it was fun while it lasted and hope we brought a bit of extra sparkle and colour to the Prem.

I think you'll get a result against Newcastle to be honest. Even as a Newcastle fan I do hope Blackpool do as i'd like them to stay up. Coupled together with a Wigan win at Sunderland it would make for an interesting Premier League table after this weekends fixture list.
