    Sat June 12 Tyne All Dayer:Road to Rimini:Neville Watson:Ali Renault

    [IMG]

    Presenting a 12 hour marathon session down The Tyne Bar from 4pm till 11pm and a Star & Shadow after party from 11pm til 4!!!

    The Tyne :: 12/06/10 :: 4pm-11pm :: FREE :: Neville Watson :: Ali Renault (live)

    Originally a ska and reggae DJ, Neville Watson picked up the fiercely infectious acid house bug in the late eighties going on to become resident at the infamous Checkpoint Charlie parties in Reading. More recently played he’s played some of the best dance parties in the UK as well as the über-cool Bergain club in Berlin, and is more than deserving of his reputation as one of the UK’s best house DJ’s. Staying true to the raw and original house blueprint drawn out in Chicago, he has had a string of great releases as Midnight Steppers, under his own name and in collaboration with Kink, on various labels such as Dissident, Clone and Rush Hour records offshoot Hour House is Your Rush. Jacking house and other eighties goodies are the order of the day - BANG THE BOX!

    Live support comes from Rimini favourite Ali Renault, formerly of Heartbreak, aka Cestrian. Clocking up quite a discography himself these days, Ali's Live show is a great mix of tempos and styles with his own distinctive bass rich stamp.

    The Star & Shadow :: 12/06/10:: 10-30pm-4.00am :: The Third Man (live) :: Slabs of the Tabernacle DJs (Glasgow) :: £6 memb. /£7

    Afterparty to keep the fire burning...

    The Third Man, alias of London Based Toby Leeming, was schooled in Detroit techno and electro whilst at university in Edinburgh, with the help of a few trips through to Glasgow. As The Third Man he's steadily been building a reputation among the worldwide underground techno community. Citing the likes of Monolake, Jeff Mills and Robert Hood as influences, his sound is still distinctive and original whilst steeped in tradition. Oh, and a strong whiff of Juan Atkins style funk to his tracks. Two EP’s and an album on AI records later, as well as a storming new release on Kirk Degiorgio’s label Applied Rhythmic Technology (ART), have seen his tracks gain support from DJ’s far and wide including the peerless Underground Resistance camp. A real up and coming talent, his energetic and uplifting live show will be a treat for ears and feet tired of soulless techno. MAXIMAL!

    Slabs of the Tabernacle in Glasgow, is one of the finest underground club nights in the UK, never predictable and great across the board taste in music we're delighted to be collaborating with them for this party. Joel Shaw and Andrew Ingram will be DJing.

    They obviously saw that Phipps had made it into MixMag and felt they couldn't live without getting a piece of him
