    Sanchez on saturday

What did everyone think? I thought he was pretty average considering the reputation that he has. Was expecting to be blown away.

    I thought he was ok.

As ever, amazing technically and played some good stuff but he is just not the DJ he used to be imo.

Must say, I thought the atmopshere was one of the best I have seen in Digital. Lively from early on.

I've always considered his reputation to be a funky house don who's smooth sexy filthy house music was only matched by his radio voice.

He's a bit Eric Morillo isn't he? I'd have went there expecting to be hed kandied.

Were you not thinking of Nick Warren?

I've seen him a few times now and he has been excellent in the past - didn't think it was rubbish on sat but nowhere near as good as I've seen him play.

Was stinking in there on sat though. didn't think it'd be that bad after the smoking ban but was minging towards the end

I've only been to one club since the smoking ban came in and I cant say im in much of a hurry to spend alot of time in clubs until they start pumping the air full of something more pleasent smelling.

Saw him at Global on the friday. His Technical ability and the way he drops tunes are amazing.

Yes some of it is proper cheese but i wouldnt stand round stroking my chin when someone like Sanchez is on, not when everyone around you is just proper going for it.

He played a Chilli Peppers remix. It had the full guitar beakdown 'how long how long will i slide' etc. I was standing there thinking hmmm, youve just ruined that song mate. It dropped after the breakdown and i nearly shat myself. Was alll over the place and it was just massive tune with ridiculous bassline, one after another. Absolutely fucking loved it like :cool2:
