    Castrate the bastard.

We get beat 1-0 by Northern Ireland and while were getting beat he sits the motionless and does absolutly nothing and then decideds to bring on Owen Hargreaves.

What a fucking pile of shit. Im just thankful that Austria are worse than us and couldnt beat Azerbaijan so were at least guaranteed a play off place.

I cant remember the last time i watched England in the last two years and wasnt embarrased or came away from the game thinking we played well and looked good.....our qualifiers last year were poor performances aswell its a disgrace.

Although some blame needs to go on the players there was no passion at all from anyone and no creativity.

Rooney was a cock in the first half but stuck on the wing, anyone noticed that for Man Utd he doesnt do anything like that and loose his temper etc? Personally i think its because he's scared of Alex Ferguson, if Sven just didnt sit there and do nothing say nothing and showed some passion and anger when things are going wrong maybe he wouldnt get frustrated and lash out as he'd have someone to answer too when he come off the pitch

Blame the players too, they had no passion. Same in Denmark.

Ashley Cole, Ferdinand, Rooney, Owen, Lampard, Gerrard were all dreadful - no effort.

He should go but he won't.
Steve Mclaren should stay possibly as the full manager.

Problem with people like Curbishley and Allardyce is that they've done really well at small clubs but never done it right at the top ie tactical battles at champions league level

Yeah but look at what theyve achieved allardyce tho i dont like his brand of football has improved bolton every year there now in europe .
Curbishley is the model for evry manager coming out of the championship because he has taken a group of players with lets face it not much talent and slowly changed and brauoght in new ones to the point where the now look a cracking side .

They may be at small clubs but they have had huge sucsess and desrve a chance .

As far as the swede goes he aint gonna walk away from 4mil a year and I think the fa havnt got the bottle to sack him cos of the pay off ... Erickson is a safe manager ... he looks after the superstars and gets the odd good result mixed in with steady if uninspiring wins in the qualification ..... But one thing has proven true , every time he gets into trouble he has no tactical solution other than to hope one of his star players can rescue him .
The players should be shot for the way they played But in a system they clearly dont understand and is only of benefit to one player how can they expect to shine ?

To be honest, I doubt I'd get an English manager, they dont seem to be anyone good enough to step upto the hotseat, I'd rather see someone like Luiz Felipe Scolari appointed rather than another Kevin Keegan.

I think that all national managers should be from their country. Lawrie Sanchez must have felt a bit strange last night

Somewhere in Sweden, a little village is missing it's idiot.

    Don't worry, we've found him!

    :dunce:

Utterly clueless! What must he have been thinking???

"1-0 down to Northern Ireland, chasing the game, what should I do? I know, I'll bring on Owen Hargreeves! Sven, you're a Genius!"

I love how everyone's automatically slating him - someone on the BBC pointed out that it's the first time that a team under erikkson has lost during the group qualifiers. It's hardly game over provided we win our last two matches.

Even with the half-cocked formation he had set up, we still should have been able to win the game.

Blame the players who didn't or couldn't give a shit.

If we don't qualify thats when I'll call for him to be sacked.
