S - Groove (Forensic / 3am Recordings) January Promo Mix S-Groove (aka Sean Fizunk) is Belfast based DJ and producer Sean Grieve. The love affair began in the early 90's, when Sean was only 10. Hearing some cassette tapes of some of the early raves in England. From that moment, Sean began collecting these recordings from across the water and from local nites and dj's. Finally gettin his first turntables in '96...Sean began collecting records, playing everything from house, trance/progressive house through to techno. In 2000 he decided to focus more on house music, already having big respect for the Detroit and Chicago players. The likes of Todd Terry, Marshall Jefferson, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Heard, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick Carter, the list goes on....the people who started it all! Having played in many venues across Belfast & N. Ireland over the last 7 years, playing a varied blend of deep and soulful house music, Sean has incorporated these ethics into his production work. With the emphasis on deep electronic house music, keeping a melodic feel, while still keeping enough energy to make the dancefloor move!
