    Roy Keane

How come he can spend hundreds of millions and be pretty much bottom of the league, yet there never seems to be any threat of him losing his job? Isn't it about time that people started calling his decisions and tactics into question?

Its the Irish clique, they look after their own.

I worked for an Irish construction company last year. They sacked loads of Aussies for any reason, but never got rid of any Irish lads even when they got busted after drug tests.

Its what happens when theres stability at a club mate, not that i would expect you to understand... ;)

The fans and board have total faith that the manager is the one to take the club forward, and dont see the need to change manager about as often as Owen is out injured

its this "stability" and "loyalty" to managers that has given sunderland the title of a YoYo club over the last 15 years

it would be total lunacy to sack him, hes the only stable manager they have had in years, some of his signing have been very good (Cisse, richardson, jones, Mccartney) others have been shit (chopra, gordon (IMO for that kind of £££), prica) that is the script with most managers though.

and when 3 points seperates bottom and 10th its not exactly all doom and gloom for any of the clubs down there is it? dont get me wrong i hate the cunt more than anyone else in football, but one of the main reasons i hate him is cos i think he is a good boss

I'd agree that there's not many people in football, or even on the planet, that i hate more than Roy Keane, but its not coz he's a good manager, its coz he's a proper cunt.

edit - ..and he wanks his dog.

my only concern was some of his signings in previous seasons (most of which he has now got rid of) but thankfully it seems these days are gone, managing to get the likes of cisse, the spurs trio, ferdinand etc proves he has got pulling power. remember this is only keanes 3rd season as a manager, i don't think any sunderland fan is expecting or should be expecting anything higher than a decent mid table finish. what him and big niall have done is nothing short of amazing.

Keane is the man, not a brilliant tactician at the moment but in 10 years time he'll probably be the best.

He'll probably take over from Fergie at Man United I reckon.
