Rotterdam Terror Corps - 22/3/08 BTTF Glasgow

    Saturday 22nd March 08
    Carling Academy
    Glasgow

    LIVE
    -----

    ROTTERDAM TERROR CORPS (nl)
The biggest live act to come out of Holland finally returns to the UK, playing for the first time live in over a decade. Renound for their explosive stage show and sexy dancers, RTC are sure to make a lasting impression on everyone. They have played at every major hardcore event worldwide and now its time for them to return to Scotland exclusively for BTTF.

    ULTRABEAT
Finally making their BTTF Debut, we bring you Ultrabeat. The year 2007 was quite a year for them, with their debut album going against all predictions and going straight into the Top 10 of the Album Chart in September, peaking at #8. Four years ago they broke into the singles chart at #2 with “Pretty Green Eyes”.

    DE-VIATION CREW
One of the last original bands to reform and having
not played for 13 years, this is sure to be a performance to look forward to. Their first massive single "Here It Is" remains a mainstay in most record boxes to this day. Other memorable tracks include: "De-State" which was released on Evolution Records and "Key To Heaven", which was a massive club hit back in '95. Another BTTF exclusive!!

    DJ's
    -----

    KORSAKOFF (nl)
There is no true hardcore fanatic that doesn't know the beautiful DJ revelation Korsakoff! Famous for her productions such as “Time to be Loud”, “My Empty Bottle” and “Still Wasted”, Korsakoff’s huge success came in 2004 when she and Dj Outblast produced the all time floorfiller “Unleash the Beast”, this masterpiece was the official Masters of Hardcore anthem of that year. “Unleash the Beast” was the most wanted requested video-clip ever on the television network ‘The Box’ and was played by dj’s worldwide.

    WOODY VAN EYDEN (de)
Another DJ making his BTTF debut after his excellent DJ set at Fantasylands last year. We had to bring back Woody with his mad on stage antics.Woody is in huge demand, resulting in bookings from Malta to Miami, Scheveningen to Sydney and from Russia to Abu Dabi. He brings euphoria to a packed floor of party people and is recognized and respected all over the world.

    CLAUDIO LANCINHOUSE & JAPPO (it)
Playing b2b for the first time in the UK exclusively for BTTF, we introduce one of the most famous DJ partnerships in European hardcore. Both DJ's were residents at the world famous 'Number One Club' in Italy and became known worldwide after their early releases on Industrial Strength Records, including the hugely succesful “Exlxaxl”. Jappo and Claudio are now residents at Holland's No.1 oldskool party 'Mindcontroller' and play at all the biggest parties in Europe and beyond including 'Thunderdome','Masters Of Hardcore' and 'Nightmare in Rotterdam' to name only a few. They will be playing a special oldskool set at BTTF, showcasing some of the biggest European oldskool hardcore anthems.

    STU ALLAN
Stu Allan has been one of the UK’s top Hardcore DJ’s since the very beginning. His hardcore radio shows on Key 103, Manchester were legendary and his productions as Visa have been some of the all time classics. Stu has been back in the studio producing some absolute belters and remixing for some of the biggest names in the business. Stu was one of the highlights of Fantazia last year and we just had to get him back to rock the Academy!!

    BASS GENERATOR

Wasn't it you giving the extra large about not slagging off nights, etc? Not saying this night would be my cup of tea, just wondering at your total and utter hypocrisy.

    When was this.

I am not slagging off the night just the act ultrabeat to fair it does say quite a bit about the event when they think booking some one so commercial's a good idea next to gabber.

I quite often say what i think about nghts so there is no hypocrisy there.

Prove me wrong and find my posts about not slagging nights off untill then shut up.

I find it completely puzzling why people moan about events/DJ's/acts that they have no interest in, or have any effect on what they do

Because poeple have points of view.

Its hardly the end of the world someone saying ultrabeat are shit.

You were saying the same things about mc's a minute ago.

Were you not the founder member of the anti-cheese allience how things change.

I know you getting bookings off these guys but come on glen ultrabeat.

Anyways no beef i hardly think a couple of posts on heres going to effect the numbers.

I didnt say MC's where 'shit'.

    Nope

This line-up just shows you how diverse and open minded Scottish are to various music styles and partying. Something a lot of people could learn from !

BTTF sell out every month, 4,000 people, so they must be doing summick right !

Ok you said sack all mc's you would hardly want to do that if you thought they were good.

So why are you allowed to say that and i am not allowed to sack ultrabeat.

If learning from a scottish event is putting on ultra beat next to gabber i think i will pass.

The scottish rave crew hate anything with a breakbeat hows that being diverse.

And if you think i am not into diverse music your having a laugh....

To me a diverse Rave line-up is the bloc,Bangface the Glade quality underground electronic music.

Not music 17 year old boy racers listern to like ultrabeat.

Anyways i just winding you up just never thought i would see you standing up for ultrabeat on a rave lineup.

Are you Dave Melt in disguise ? :D

There has been plenty of breakbeat in recent times so dunno whcih 'raves' you have been going to in Scotland ....

    Fantazia - 28/1/06
Breakbeat bozo's: Rat Pack, Top Buzz, Slipmatt, Sy

    Fantazia - 30/9/06
    Breakbeat Bozo's: Baby D, SL2, Ellis D, Easygroove, Slipmatt
Playing alongside a diverse selection of : Neophyte (live), Paul Elstak, Dyewitness (Misjah)

    Fantazia - 27/1/07
Breaker breakers: Altern 8 DJ set, Stu Allan
Diversers: Bizzare Inc, Frankie Bones & Lenny De (2 hour techno set)

    Fantazia - 29/9/07
Breakers: Rhythm Section (live), Ratty, Donavan Bad Boy Smith, Ellis Dee

    Fantazia 16/2/08
With a Raindance v Helter Skelter arena feat: Slipmatt, DJ Sy, DJ Seduction

Canny diverse I would say. Fantazia's also sell out, with the main arena holding 8,000 people + 2 tents outside. Rock n roll

Where did I say that like ?

Never heard of Bloc, no idea what line-ups are on at Glade & Bangface so I won't comment on how good/bad they are as I know nowt about them :)

The definition of a 'rave' in Scotland as always been different to the rest of the UK.

    Each to there own innit.

    :king:
