Real Madrid striker Ronaldo will be sidelined for up to three weeks with a muscle tear.

The Brazilian limped out of Saturday's La Liga game against Real Sociedad early in the second half, and further tests revealed that he is likely to be out for Real's next two or three games.

With the World Cup looming and only six matches left to play in the Spanish domestic season, Ronaldo will be cursing the latest setback in an injury-plagued campaign.

The 29-year-old has struggled for fitness this term, but finally appeared to hitting top form in recent weeks, notching four goals in his last four games, including his 100th for Real against Sociedad.

He will be sorely missed by Real as they aim to secure second place and automatic qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

More pressing for Ronaldo will be a swift return to action to ensure that he is in peak condition for the World Cup.

There attacking options aredless. Juninho etc. Defence is quite frail, got to takeadvantage. Dida is a joke of a goalkeeper, good penalty stopper and thats it.

Even so their attack will rip any teams to shreds. Odds on in my opinion

juninho is class, awesome freekicks... he'd walk into any other national team. aye dida isnt brilliant but brazil arent famed for good goalies, especially recently... even tafferel was a bit dodgy at times!

i dont think they'll win it with it being in europe... i think they'll play well but bottle it against italy or someone... think spain might have an outside chance as they have to click in one tournament, i wouldnt want to predict a winner tho.

Dida problem is his positioning he always well off his line normally when a cross comes in. He is a great penalty stopper. Defence is let down by Roque Junior. Midfield is great with Gilberto, Kaka, Emerson, Ronaldinho. Strikers well you have Adriano, Baptista, Robinho and Wagner Love. Their squad is massive.

Yes but Ronaldinho would count as 2 against a Ghana unknown player.
