Freddie would of made him resign just so he doesn't look bad for sacking him. Looks like it'll be Sam then. No matter what anyone says Roeder wasn't and never would of been the man to take Newcastle forward

No, just Roeder. I think Dalglish and Gullit got a fair chance when they started. And Robson was always going to be a good choice. Like second-choice Steve with England, most people didn't want Roeder from the start though.

Respect to Roeder for having the balls and decency to resign unlike Souness and Gullit who where determined to take the club down as long as they got sacked and paid off. Souness got 5mil for getting sacked!

As for the next manager, i am not even gonna mention anyone because it seems inevitable that big sam is in. Would be good to see shearer as one of the backroom staff though.

I think now he's gone a few of the 'young ones' that were making the bench and that ie. carroll, lua lua will find it hard to find there place in the squad.

Imo thats what is wrong with the team at the minute, too much youth! No experience!

    WRONG!!

The young players were the only highlights of this season for us barr Nicky Butt.

Our problem is we have far too many so called 'experienced' players who don't give a shit about the club, play with no passion, and prefer to indulge in heavy weekends a bit too often.
