    Rodi Style - Detox

Many of you have been asking what the crack is with rodi style - will he be playing will he not be playing for the best of this week since his visa problems before last weeks hard beat manifesto in leeds where he wasnt able to play.

Well the situation as I presently understand it is as follows:

basically as of Monday of this week Rodi had his visa in place to come back into the uk to work: thereby meaning he would be likely to play at detox tonight.
All that he has been waiting of is the return of his passport which was due back late yesterday / today and which he would then be able to collect from OTTAWA (CANADA), jump on the next flight to the uk and thus play detox tonight.

Unfortunately and with much regret we are sad to say that his passport still hasn't come back and so although he has the visa to return he hasn't been able to travel in time for tonights DETOX event at the venue.

We have given this as long as possible to see if the passport would eventually reappear yesterday and today but sadly it still hasnt arrived.

We have considered filling his slot with alternative dj talent but given the late communication of this information it just isnt feaible to fill the slot with an artist of equal calibre. So instead, Bootek (Live) and Proteus have been asked to play longer sets in the absence of RODI.

Rest assured, RODI will return in the future and we are already in negotiations to bring him back when DETOX returns.

We apologise to any of you who were looking forward to Rodi playing Newcastle tonight, we are just as gutted as you are.

Dont think its hard house in the way that it used to be like. im not clued up on the scene. Everything seems to be hardstyle into hardcore now. Although i find it gets repetitive as fuck.

But rodi styles remixes of certain tracks and his productions that ive heard seem pretty good.

    Aye?
Sounds a bit like Yoji when he first popped onto the scene.
I'm not really into the harder stuff now either although I wouldn't grumble if it was playing.

Its going to take my better half 6-10 weeks to get a shitty working holiday Visa for the UK (on top of the biometric scans she's already had to go for). Its currently sitting in the British Embassy, and they can give no timeline how long its gonna take. It took me 90 seconds to get the same Visa for Australia. Opened my eyes to this whole "Its easy as fuck to get into the UK" attitude a lot of people have.
