Bit of a long shot, but has anyone ever been to this festival in Belgium www.rockwerchter.be

Thinking of going cos the line up's pretty good, but there's only two stages so was just wondering if it's gonna be tiny.

I was wanting to go last year, the line-up is always amazing and I bet a pint of stella is something else round there :D

Id prefer 2 stages over 4 days than 4 stages over 2 days, especially with that line-up. It means there wont be as many bands you want to see that clash

    Iv got my ticket.

its costing me £200 including flights and coach.

I reckon the lineup is mint.

Practically all of the bands could headline a festival in Britain.

Snow Patrol, Razorlight, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Muse, Killers, Keane, Kaiser Chiefs, Faithless, Chemical Brothers, Arctic Monkeys. Theyve all headlined at a british festival.

    :D :D :D

Snow Patrol, Razor Light, Killers, Keane, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys.. Possibly the most unimaginative bands going..

None of them are headline acts, fad bands maybe, which is such a shame because they all seem to have wormed their way to the top of this years lineups.. Headline acts on a second stage yes, none of them have earned main stage headline stripes yet..

Try... Bjork, Beastie Boys, Air, Bloc Party, QOTSA, Interpol.... in fact, that line up is pretty lame..

    Pop will eat itself.

I dont like most of the bands i mentioned i just know that theyve headlined.

Arctic monkeys were wank at T in the Park, but muse ripped me a new one at leeds.

Metallica, Muse, klaxons, Hadouken! and bloc party are the bands that im going for

I've always ducked out of seeing Muse at festivals, OoS was good but they've never really appealed, and the new stuff is god awful, but everyone who's ever seen them seems to think they're amazing so I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt at Benicassim this summer..

I didn't see Hadouken on that line up, good choice thogh..

I never rated Muse before that but they were immense.

Hadouken! = Friend of a friend situation.

Indie sells, Arctic Monkeys could probably get away with it..

Snow Patrol, Keane, Razorlight are soft rock / pop, Killers are borderline pop and Kaiser CHiefs are 100% fame craving popsters, as Ricky once infamously admitted..

It's a bit like Alice DeeJay, Flip and Fill or Sash labelling themselves Trance..

Agree with you point on that, especially in the case of Snow Patrol and Keane. But I wouldnt class the Arctic Monkeys as unimaginitive whether you like them or not.

They've been around for 2 years now, their lyrics are empty, the songs don't have any passion to them and reek of some condescending precociousness..

Not what I’d call indie but still each to their own..
