    Rock vs Dance

Okay, so this is a clubbing message board, so we can reasonably assume that everyone here likes some form of dance or electronic music. Question is - do you feel that dance music is in genera better music than rock, or vice versa? Which do you enjoy better, and which do you think is artistically superior? Is dance not "real" music, as it is (largely) synthetic in origin?

i absolutely love both, but what i listen to mostly depends on my mood and both forms of music are hard to produce well imo too. I hate the argument of whats harder to produce and whats real music etc, imo musics just something to influence how you feel. you get alot of people calling certain styles of music false etc, and too many posers who i think dont acually enjoy the music but follow crowds especially in rock

Both are completely different, but nowt beats a bit of good old fashioned moshing. :D

Of course, you could like both at the same time by being into industrial, ebm and futurepop
