Evolution is not a chance process though.

Why is a designer probably complicated? Mammalian life is the most complex thing we know of, and the only life complex enough to design other things. Humans are the best designers, but no human is even remotely capable of designing a universe or another life form. Therefore any designer of something as complex as the universe is going to have to be incomprehensibly more complex than any human.

To explain the origin of this being is therefore going to be pretty tough, much tougher than explaining the origin of complex humans even without evolution, which removes a great deal of the improbability of that.

The G-d hypothesis is self defeating.
