Paul van Dyk is a living legend ever since the majestic For An Angel took over clubs all over the world. Since then the German superstar has been established between all big DJ's and now his new artist album called Reflections is in gear for release. On the website it says: "Paul van Dyk’s musical experimentation - expressed through collaborations with groups like St Etienne, Vega 4 and Second Son, and vocalists like Jan Johnston – has reached another level with this, his fourth artist album. ‘Reflections’ is van Dyk at his most accomplished. Amongst the signature PvD anthems such as ‘Nothing But You’ (which recently reached No. 14) ‘Connected’ and ‘Spellbound’, are stunning songs such as ‘Time Of Our Lives’ (written and recorded with hot British rock band Vega 4), ‘Home’ (with Jan Johnston), and ‘That’s Life’ – which features Paul on vocals for the first time. These tracks show his love for a variety of genres - The Smiths and New Order are among his favourite bands – and highlight Paul’s strength as a songwriter. In addition, he’s harked back to the breakbeats that he pioneered with BT in the mid 1990’s for ‘Never Forget’; joined forces with Germany’s biggest hip hop star, DJ Tomekk, for ‘Knowledge’; and produced a beautiful, electronic epic with Second Son in ‘Crush’. This album is a striking piece of work that transcends the dance genre and shows Paul is on the cusp of the worldwide success he so richly deserves. Paul van Dyk has surely come a long way since his techno beginnings - but ‘Reflections’ shows he’ll go further than anyone could have predicted. Tracklist: 1. Crush 2. Time of our Lives 3.
