    red bull in keyboard

    this is really important

if i press shift it types b1 then presses enter and opens a new window in internet explorer

i have no fucking idea why it chooses to do that many things with one button but it does [exclamation mark]

i spilled some redbull on the keyboard last night and the keyboard was like a 70 quid birthday present

as far as i can tell the shift keys were the only ones affected and the rest were ok - it could have been alot worse but its still pissing me off and i cant afford to get a new one of these keyboards

    please help[exclamation mark]

i done this awhile back with my Apple Mac Pro keyboard, another fairly expensive one (it was brand new too). Ended up taking it to pieces (about 35screws! being an apple piece of kit) and finding the redbull has ate away at the tracks, its probably possible to fix using a repair pen thingy but i havent bothered, so the keyboards down and left arrow keys dont work.
Ive never drank redbull while pissed at the pc again.

Cant u get keyboards for about £15 ?

£70 - what a waste of money! Im sure they all have all 26 letters, 10 numbers and everything else you need. :)

My apple keyboard had all the tracks printed onto a thin plastic type material, im persume the tracks are some kind of metal and it ate away at that. Pretty much knacking a brand new £60 keyboard. This was about 2 years ago now, still use the keyboard though, just have to use the num keys instead of the arrow keys.

I think my keyboard cost about £15. Never got the point in spending more.

The one i got for my birthday (a year ago) is brilliant.. its the I-touch one by logitech. It's turned me into the world's laziest surfer - I've got a button on it for the Promise message board! It's wireless and feels lush to type on too..

I've washed it and i'm leaving it under the lamp for a few days to dry out.
