    Recording your own mixes...

Is it just me, or when u plan to record a mix, do you put it off for ages, dude to fear of messin one mix up, which would in turn ruin the whole 70 mins?

i always put if off cos im always waiting for new tunes!

if u are doing a CD or sommat, just plan each tune and mix before hand, have your records ready, and it should all go fine. thats what i find anyway.

I don thtink it helped I had to lug the computer upstairs to do the mix, then take it back down each time to connect back to the internet, maybes it ll be easier with portable md:D yeah was thinkin maybes I should plan all the mixes first too:)

if im doing a mix for somebody, i always plan the mixes, or do mixes i know work well, so t sounds good.

if its just for me tho i dont really care.

most of the time when im messing around i just have my MD recording, it gives me something to listen to @ work and stuff.

 but I don’t know that many mixing techniques:) but I go on trial n error:) Its def good to have your md rolling, means you can listen to your mixes and see or hear where you can improve too, and see what works well:D apologies for any dodgy spelling, the sun is in my eyes, so I cant see my screen:) and I don’t want to close the blinds, cos I love the sun:D

I get a rough idea of what tunes I want to play in my head and then just jump on the dex. Seems to work for me.:D
