Recording from digital radio etc to PC?

    Recording from digital radio etc to PC?

    How difficult is it? What do I need?

    Its easier than beating the Toon.

    You need a digital or coaxial output from the Digital Radio and a good SoundBlaster Live card that comes with digital or coaxial inputs.

    Then you need the digital or coaxial cable to connect the two.

    I have this capability but still prefer to go RADIO>(digital connection)>CD>(digital extraction)>PC.

    I am not a fan of recording straight to PC as things like random hard disk accessing can interfere with the recording.

    Thats not going to happen as long as your PC is more recent than Simon Quick ;)

    Id still prefer a straight burn onto CD. PC's are too risky imo

    My CD recorder has never crashed :lol:

    bah, wimp :D

    My PC never has in the middle of recording.... Nor has my P3 600mhz laptop that I use to record my mixes when I'm playing out.

    Record so far on that is a full 6hr set without it even breaking into a sweat ;)
