Reason Problem My mate uses reason to produce, now when he starts reason its asking for the Orkestral sound bank CD. this is on his pc and has worked for months with out having to use the CD. i copied the sound bank off the computer onto CD but no luck. think he tried another person CD with it on but that didnt work anyone got any ideas? need to try sort it as soon as possible as without it he cant get on with his work cheers
the bank has to be in the same folder as the reason exe program file or it will ask for a cd every time
your almost right luke, ive found after a certain length of time (weeks) without use it does ask for the CD to be inserted again (even after copying the bank into the reason folder after install). Dont ask me why it does this. As for copying the bank over from the reason folder onto a CD, this doesnt work, as you do not have the full CD image burned missing out on the protection rights to enable the software. You need a full burn of the original CD...even downloading from the net an image doesnt work. find someone with the original and reinstall (dont forget to make a copy tho
