    as well as the fact that most of people you come cross won't even smile to be polite and if u do u usually get a responce like " who the fuck u lookin at" or if 2 people bump in to eachother its not "sorry" its "watch where u fuckin goin or i'll bust a cap in ya ass"

    i am originally from london and with the exception of my family and friends there everyone ive every come across is arrogant and everyone is so agressive...

    like here in newcastle i will happily leave my purse on top of buggy and feel ok bout takin my eye off it 4 a second but when i go to london i have my bag wrapped around my wrist several times and just cant have a relaxin day hoppin. id hate to live my life like that again

    Wow its amazing that apart from only your family and friends, that everyone is arrogant and aggressive - you must have been born under a good sign ;)

    Nearly every busy capital city is like that - people tend to live busier and more stressful lives, and with such a melting pot of people all from different backgrounds and with all different lives - its obvious why most people act the way they do.

    I felt the same when i moved down to london, but you quickly realise the way people act is just par for the course in london.

    i completely understand that the people there are the way they are to survive and thats all they've ever known etc when i lived there it seemed normal and it was the norm to be that way but movin to newcastle made me realise what it was truly like and i really dont understand how people can live there life lookin over their shoulder...

    The main difference I have found is that other people in London are less likely to initiate a conversation. If you initiate it though, they are just as friendly as anywhere else.

    People are just rude when it comes to getting on and off crowded tubes.

    There are plenty of rude people down here, but there were plenty when I lived in Newcastle too.
