Real Madrid to sign Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Real Madrid have signed a agreement with Ajax to sign Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in Jan for 17million £.

KJH was coverted by Man Utd among others..

The Ajax striker has scored 75 goals in 90 games for the Dutch side and will be eligible to play in the Champions League for the defending La Liga champions.

Great signing by Madrid and somewhat breas theor mould of buying great ESTABLISHED players. Hes a great finisher no doubt but as shown with Kuyt, scoring heaps in dutch footy dont mean yr a great striker

Yeah, I was just saying the same today.
Playing in that side can only bring him on I reckon, they looked a bit of a loss last weekend when they got beat without a 'target man'.

i think Huntelaar will turn into a class act, i can see what you mean about goal scoring in the Dutch league compared to higher profile ones but his strike rate is still fucking awesome, and he has a good strike rate at international level aswell!

be interesting to see how much he is on the pitch at Real like, with Raul getting no younger and RVN out for ages i reckon he will get a decent run in the side too!

hes 25! not exactly a talented youngster learning his trade.. how much can he learn about scoring goals that he hasnt picked up yet?

He will probs score bag loads like but so would Shola in Madrids team

Re: Real Madrid to sign Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Although i think Kuyt is'nt in the elite it was always going to be hard to score the same amount as he did in Holland playing on the right wing.

I sign'd KJH on champ man for real madrid years and years ago, he was banging in 40 a season... so seen as though champ is real life he's going to be amazing.

Been a fan of KJH for ages now, me and pike have had a few convos about this lad, i'm suprised it's taken so long for him to leave, i thought he'd be playin prem or la liga at the start of this season.

    Great sigining.

He'll be class there. Yes the dutch league isn't as tough yes it's easy to bang goals in but he's just a class act. He's not just a poacher he scored spectacluar goals as well.

People base Dutch football on what's happened in England. "oh he won't score as many as dutch footy is too easy"

Well it's obvious and it's based on players like Kezman and Kuyt and compare their goal scoring records to RVN

Kezman - Hardly played and when he did it was one game miss 3 play again or coming on for 20 mins. Never got the kind of run Drogba got who was just as shit in his first season.

Kuyt - Again hardly played first season now he's playing in midfield.

If you had put Kezman or even someone like Alves in Man Utd's side they'd have scored a bag full as you get about 5 chances a game and can then score one.

Put Huntelaar in a Man Utd shirt he'd do just as good if not better than RVN and he'll probs do the same at Real as they make plenty of chances as well.
