Ratatouille Went to see this last night. Expected loads more from it tbf. Theyve been advertising literally over a year and I think maybe bigged it up too much. It was a cute story with a few funny parts, mainly when the rats were fluffy, but it just went on too long. Obviously the graphics were mint too, but overall just didnt do it for me, and Im a cartoon lover.
everytime i go to the pics i see an advert for this and it proper proper annoys me, same with them orange adverts with val kilmer in.
Them orange adverts are the most annoying things ever, they wouldn't be that bad if you went now and again and seen them once but I see it twice a week or something.
i used to think boldon cinema was good but its proper gone down hill. the films take a fucking age to start, everythigns far too expensive and the films are proper limited spmetimes, not to mention the same fucking shite adverts
It's the same everywhere, they all take years to start. If you go 15mins after the time it says then it'll be just about to start. You only notice the shite adverts because you go all the time and they get boring. Food at cinemas is always a rip off, that's where they make there money. Go to asda next door and buy a bag of cinema sweet popcorn and a bottle of pop which will cost you about £1.70 and the popcorn is probs nicer than the cinemas anyway.
i already do that you muppet, it took one film i went to see about 40 mins to start, thats 40 mins after the specified start time.
Time it next time you go. It depends what time of day and what film it is I think but if i go 15mins after the time it says then it's usually just about to start. 40mins lmao
i go at about 9pm, transformers took about 40 mins to start honest, and that michael clayton took about the same, the rest take about 25 mins atleast
Slight exaggeration there Lee. Ive gone to Boldon for about 3 years or something, loads a times a month with that card and max is 20-25 mins and thats very rare. Average 15 mins after start time.
He must have a private viewing and that's why it's different to everyone else. Scott of shields??? How long do you start the film after the time stated on the ticket?
Firstly - I have to watch that Val Kilmer Orange Ad at least 25 times a day. I swear to God it's pushing me to the point of madness. It's changing to Macaulay Culkin at the end of the month so no doubt that will please us all for about a week til that gets annoying as fuck In Projection terms we call everything that plays before the film the "pre-programme". When I first started at the Silverlink (8 years ago) the average pre-programme time was 15 minutes. These days on average a pre-programme runs for about 23 minutes. I doubt very much any cinema would have a 40 minute pre-programme, we certainly never have. When the last Harry Potter was out we had the first ever 30 minute pre-programme, that's the longest i've ever known. It's usually about 10 minutes of Carlton adverts, 10 minutes of trailers, then any other sponsorship ads that might be currently playing (Orange etc). If you get there 15 minutes after the start time on your ticket you'll have almost definitely missed all of the adverts and maybe a trailer or two. So i'd say just aim to get in the screen for 10 minutes after, you'll miss the ads but get to see all the trailers.
yeah i got in 10 mins after the scheduled start, seen a few trailers including one about shrooms and that cunting val kilmer advert, just so pleased i didnt see that ratatoulli one
If you count from when the adverts start then it may be longer cos at boldon the adverts start before the time it says on your ticket.
