    Random thread but........

    im showing my age and just being a twisty cunt now but i just popped round the shop to buy some milk and thought i'd get myself some crisps and something sweet so i looked on the counter and saw good old blackcurrant chewits .....

    which i haven't had since i was a bairn (long time ago lol)
    so thought i get some for a laugh

    can anybody remember them just being 10p-15p (again showing my age)

    went and paid for them and they were 45p :eek:

    i know i sound like a skinflint and ive got to much time on my hands but i was really suprised that they cost that much these days :oops: :lol:

    i think the price for milk these days is a bigger issue to be honest like - its went up about 50p in 6 months :(
