Agreed Danny he's played Wax:On, Shindig, Habit and also the University and failed to pull each time. IMO he had his chance as a DJ to really break when he closed Sonar a couple of years ago, however he failed to generate any buzz off the back of that which should have really set him up for the big time.

File in the same category as Carl Craig, good producer average DJ.

I'd have to agree on the good producer average DJ bit, really like the majority of his productions but only seen him once and found him quite tough and bland.

It lifted the terrace at space and when he started tough but it got pretty borning after about half an hour of the same thing.

he is an amazingly consistent producer.

i thought he was pretty decent when he played for us - not out of this world but a good, solid set.

Hes a great producer but an average DJ. His tracks are good alone but 2 hrs of that and i was bored out my face when he played at Habit. I thought he was a massive let down because of the massive hype sites like RA give him.

Its a shame it was so quiet when he last played up here, it was the same weekend as Timewarp last year so i missed it unfortunately though had it been any other weekend i would have been there with bells on..

As far as the whole 'average DJ/good producer' argument goes, speaking personally i have seen him play twice at Shindig's birthday and at Spinclub in ibiza and thought he was wicked both times.

Ive heard a fair few recorded sets which can be a bit hit and miss though, some have been quality and some have been not as good, though to be fair i think the same can be said for most DJ's in that respect.

As a producer hes awesome and would love to see him again soon, its a strange one he has failed to pull on recent visits though as i would have thought there would be a fair few people want to see him on due to his productions alone. I can see why he would be a risk to promoters though if he hasn't pulled in a crowd on a few visits in the past.

    :)
