Personally i think it should be spread out more, but as far Jules and Dave Pearce are concerned it sort of gives them license to play what the hell they want now due to thier quite late time slots which should give them abit more recognition (if thats possible)
Re: Radio 1's new schedule? well had on, halliwell, tong, and - in new dj's we trust is on thursday :spangled: and fabio and grooverider are on saturday :chill: but yeah, i liked the old format. the radio after clubbing/taxi on the way home on friday night/saturday mornings will be good though
Aye absolutely shite as fuck. No dance music on Radio 1 before ya go out means listening to chavvy Galaxy while you're getting ready. Tbh, I dont see the point of it - most people who are really into that kinda music are going to be out clubbing through the night so whats the point.
last essential mix i heard was Mylo in about 05, heard drips and drabs of mixes since but they have all sounded pretty shit.
Ok, but isn't it a bit unfair to make them sit up all night til 4 or 5am? I still think taking Chris Moyles off the afternoon show was the worst descision they ever made. Them were the days!
The CD player on my car has broken so I was stuck with the radio last sunday night. Kelly osborne's show was quite honestly the worst thing I have ever heard on radio1 or any other station. She didn't have a clue what she was doing and just blathered on about her happy pills.
I listen to the specialist shows quite often like. Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Fabio and Grooverider and Rob Da Banks shows are all quality IMO. The daytime shows are utter gash like.
