Racism in Big Brother

Can anyone tell me exactly what has been said that is racist?

I'm seeing a huge amount of publicity given to this, indeed even the government is now involved, without a single quote or example or any form of evidence whatsoever to back it up.

I haven't seen celeb BB, so I'm obviously open to correcting here, but I'd like to think that if there is going to be an international incident then there is a reason for it.

haven't seen bb but read a few articles on the racism... words like "paki cunt", "you don't know where thier hands have been", etc. have been uttered alongside racial bullying.

think its all the girls with fake tits that are racist... dont know if theres any connection to be made though...

the only bits i heard about, where shilpa had made the chicken and it was cooked very well - they were all doing impression of her indian accent and saying they eat with their hand " oo u don't know where they've been" - i think that was jade, the troll from s-club and the scouse lass

plus jade's mum called her ' the indian '

That lass from S club apparently said 'all Indians are skinny as they undercook there food'

I cant believe they'd be as stupid as to say anything like that, especially since they're obviously so desperate to make a career comeback, to appear on there.

I can believe it like, they really are that stupid.

I've watched 'celeb' big brother most nights and to be honest i havent seen anything which would warrant a racism card. sure its bullying, but nobody has said 'oh i hate that paki what a wierdo'. Jade isn't really in any position to have a go at anybody for being different. Danielle is an empty headed fucker also and Jo seems a little jealous of the fact that shilpa is more famous than her. Shilpa is handling the whole situation well, but then nothing has been really obvious. most of the negative talk has been done behind her back.

This is exactly the point.

People have had a hard time on BB before and noones really given a toss.

Obviously if someones said 'paki cunt' it's inexcusable, and they should probably be prosecuted. It doesn't sound like they have though.

Everything else....I'm not convinced. It may be bullying but too many people are too quick to start bandying 'Racist!!!!' around imo, and it detracts from real cases when they do.

just watched the video on youtube he said paki cunt and made monkey noises, the mother went on and on about not being able to pronounce her name, they're all taking the piss out of her voice, suggesting that indians are skinny because they eat ill cooked meat, etc.

Its blatant racism.
