Queudrue on the move? Franck Queudrue is ready to hand in a transfer request at Middlesbrough, saying "I am at a turning point in my career". (Sun) I rate Mad Franky. He wouldnt look out of place playing for Liverpool or UTD. He would be great for the skunks. I wonder whats pissed him off? is he not getting a game?
Re: Queudrue on the move? Mclaren keeps rotating him and Pogatetz and when ive saw bor he seems to be playing either center back left midfield or left back he gets chpped abot all over the place. I mentioned him in the England thread you started, he qualifies to play for England now through his time at Boro and never representing France.....Wonder if Sven knows this with our left back injury problems. I doubt anyone would go for him in the England team tho.
to quote another boro fan... "Would he be coming out with this if he hadn't been left out of the team on a regular basis this season? French Franck loves the Boro and the only person in the Boro who doesn't appear to love him back is the manager. I can't help feeling some of those rumours regarding dressing room tension/sexual rivalry might have had a grain of truth in them, in which case he's probably off and it's a big shame because he's a big attacking threat for us down that side and a decent, wholehearted defender." personally i think its a typical play by the sun on the story a few weeks back where he said he could leave when his contracts up... still i'd hate to see him go, he's been consistently one of the better left backs in the league for a few seasons and has largely got over his discipline problems... something pogatetz could do with learning if he is to ever better franck. even if the manager favours pog at times, he has a long way to go before he's as popular as french franck. franck for england!! besides mcclaren is apparently leading the england job race so quedreue might change his mind in the summer.
