    Quality day of sport/gambling

Tomorrows drinking, gambling and sport ...

    - Bookies to put a bet on the National.

    - FA Cup Semi, Man Utd V Arsenal at the pub.

    - Grand National.

    - Going to the Newcastle V Everton game at St James.

    Any tips for an acccumulator?

    :D

    I'm thinking on this treble...

Arsenal win, Clan Royal or Shardam each way, Newcastle win.

2 of them will be odds on, beef the bet up with a Hatton win

It's a sub opponent anyway, odds will be cac as well...

    New opponent for Hatton

Dennis Holbaek Pedersen is named as Ricky Hatton's substitute opponent in Saturday's world title bout.

True ... you like the boxing Spence?

Nothing better than a house party with a bit of live boxing thrown in from Maddasan Square Garden. :spangled:

    I like watching real fights.

SKY has killed boxing, most people dont know any boxers nowadays.SKY should let some fights go out on terrestrial tv so it raise the profile of the individual boxer as well as the sport.

Fair point, the big fights are few and far between these days. I'm goign to try and get tickets for the Scott Harrison, William Abelyan fight at Braehead coming up.

Just think what Scott's profile would be like now if he had fought some of his fights on the Beeb or ITV.

Eubank and Benn used to regularly draw audiences of 13m+ when they got shown on ITV. And the two times they fought each other, the figures were more like 18m.

    Great days. :king:

Bastard bollocks! I couldn't decide between Jonjo's horses and went for Joss Naylor in the end.. should've been Clan bloody Royal!

It's not all bad though - I had Lord Atterbury in the sweepstake at work so I win £7 for third place.:D

Won nowt on the footy as usual.. had Robert first scorer and us to win 3-2 @ 100/1 .. Oh well.

Good day like. Even though I missed the first 5 minutes or so of the 2nd half 'cause of the National.
