Punk Reluctantly went to a 'Stiff little fingers' gig at the academy last night, and actually really enjoyed it. Punks are still hardcore like, although most of them look like my dad now Any one go? Also - it made me realise how good of a venue the academy would be for dance/house/techno/trance night, why on earth hasnt it happend yet?!

I went to see Bad Manners in Blackpool 2 years ago. It was the most fun ever! Everyone proper loves it and flings themselves around the dancefloor My Dad could dance for longer than I could though
I was into all that a few years ago, mostly metal over punk like - been to see Stiff Little Fingers before aswell Enjoyed pretty much every concert I went to - never any aggro or out like that!

My m8 had her status on Facebook set as 'Stiff Little Fingers' tonight, and I replied with 'Beg Your Pardon!?'. I had no idea what it was but apparently she had a really good time. My m8's have a musical taste that ranges through probably every genre.
dont know mate, it was technically my first punk gig (albiet 30+ years late). however i've been in a fair few mosh pits. and it's good crack when ya get in the swing of it. it's nice to sample different crowds and cultures too, it's entertaining more than anything else
