I'm probably the only jewish fan of bhangra but I love the stuff :D

was a step in the right direction at least these dj's are evolving the scene - u can't get stuck in 1998 :D

this has probably been the biggest year for asian music you can hear it in hip hop to house.

I'm with Joe on this one (not the Jewish bit)... I am really into the Bhangra influence...

Hand claps are the way forward.

punjabi mc has been producing music longer than the chemicals I think (beginning of the 90's) deffinatly for just as long.

Its only recently the bahngra scene is being noticed by the mainstream masses... just like "dance" music has now gone out of fashion with the mainstream.

Your comments are very ignorant as your basing achievement on longterm mainstream success... plus we're dealing with mtv - they'll only ever pick the most fashionable lick and chemicals are about as fashionable as sweatbands :D

The Chems colaboration on stage in Edinburgh with the flaming lips was sensational. :D Brightened up a VERY dull awards show.
