    It was the wrong software version for me to be able to play backups of my originals and emulators etc...:angel2:

    you can if the firmware is 2.00 or less.

    sony released 2.01 once they realised people were downgrading.

    2.01 is being worked on at the min and an exploit is due, but then there's 2.5...2.6 etc....
