anybody here sick of the lack of games on the ps3???

its absolute bollocks, i buy the best gaming console ever built,
and i can hardly use it coz theres no decent games available.

gta pushed back til at least april,
gran turismo not out til next year,
fifa 08 out later than the xbox version,
tiger woods 08 not out until after xbox version,

really no massively selling games out yet

well done playstation for being a load of poo

p.s. even singstar has been put back 3 months.

An XBOX 360 has a much better game catalogue.

Games make the console, so the ps3 is definately not the best console ever made

It always takes about a year before the massive games start coming about on a new console, would have been better of waiting till next year to get one

i did, ps3 said games were due out THIS year..

i dont like xbox controllers, so i stuck with playstation, also
xbox is well noisy.

but still i need more games!

im only complaining coz i havernt got me laptop since i dropped it and broke it and only have my ps3 to play on now!!

THere should be a few more good ones out before xmas- I got mine with motorstorm, renaissance & oblivion, completed them and then I haven't turned it on for months except to use linux.

Addicted to my 360 at the minute - Trying to get all of the achievements on bioshock / guitar hero 2

If you havent already got oblivion for PS3 then thats the game to get to last you till Christmas, If you do all the side quests that is

oblivion is probs one ofthe best games i've played - took me aaages to complete it all

I didnt end up completing the main quest but will probably play it again when my 360 is back from the menders

FIFA 08 comes out on 28th September then Pro Evo on the 1st October thats when I'll be getting mine!

from december they will be a huge selection coming out id imagine

Just got a x box free with my phone, totally love it!
But dunno if its coz my mate burned all the games for it for me lol.

played on ps3 and was impressed, think it will personally take over the x box, but its just a matter of waiting until all the decent games are out for it, will get 1 like but not for a while.

What about the almighty Assassins Creed, Juiced 2, Kane & Linch,resident evil 5 & Heavenly sword? If you had done any research you would find that there are alot of upcoming titles for the PS3, ignore any other fool who says otherwise

Heavenly sword is getting some average reviews and the rest you've listed are multi platform anyway.

I Will probably get most multi platform games for xbox until they start using full ps3 technology (ie not just 720p resoution)
xbox live is better and you get achievements etc on the xbox.

If the games are any better on ps3, I'll get them for that but there's very little in it for most mulit platform titles.

So far cross platform games have been better on other formats too, the difficulty of programming for the ps3 seems to be delaying good games i think

all of those games apart from heavenly sword (which has been recieving average press) are multi format, so they are hardly THE reason to buy ps3 if they are also available on 360 / pc ...

when it comes to PS3 exclusives the only one that remotely interests me is Gran Turismo, and it'll have to really impress me having spent the last few month playing Forza 2.
