    PS2 Chipping!

    Whats the deal with this nowadays?

    Last time i heard (after the laws changed/closures of places) that some people could install a BLANK CHIP and it was then up to the individual to download a boot disk that would write the EPROM with whatever u wanted installing on it?

    Anyone got any ideas? Forums to look at? people that do it :D PMs :lol:

    Yeah thats one of the legal ways around it, although you can still buy the old messiah chips and what not.

    Baldbouncer.co.uk or Divineo seem to be the best places for chips still?

    I chipped my xbox on my first attempt....a steady hand and a bit of patience were all it took back then.

    Obviously that was before i started going clubbing.

    on Ps2's - it's soldering direct to legs on mini IC's... french connection that!
